Napa, CA (October 14, 2019) - Since Napa Valley 1839 Futbol Club  was first formed in 2017, the nation’s gun violence epidemic continues to grow.  On October 19, 2019, the team will walk out on the field to play the New York Cosmos with a singular and powerful message - ENOUGH.  To honor the teams stance on a future free from gun violence tragedies, a ticketed pre-game reception sponsored by Shackford’s Kitchen Store & Culinary will take place in support of Alaina’s Voice Foundation in which a special jersey and check presentation by The Coliseum Sports will take place. The game also showcases the 1839 FC partnership with OLE HEALTH and is aligned with Mental Illness Awareness Week. Ole Health will be onsite to promote its local services and resources related to mental health support here in Napa Valley. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly, evening entertainment experience.

ABOUT NAPA VALLEY 1839 FC

Napa Valley 1839 FC is part of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). NPSL players have gone on to sign professional contracts with MLS teams, European clubs, and also play for their respective national teams. This Fall, the team has been part of the Members Cup, playing high-level teams from across the country including Chattanooga FC, Detroit FC, and the New York Cosmos.
